Discovery & Analysis We started by mapping out all spreadsheet flows, identifying pain points such as redundant data entries, manual reconciliations and lack of standardized outputs. Interviews and walkthroughs with users helped clarify hidden logic and edge cases. Information Architecture & Wireframing We designed a modular structure reflecting conceptual elements of the spreadsheet: data ingestion, processing logic, validation, reporting. Low-fidelity wireframes documented key screens input forms, workflow steps, dashboards. Visual Design & Prototype In Figma, we created a simple but professional UI. Forms and tables were designed for clarity and usability. Interactive prototype allowed early user testing and refinements, ensuring the system matched user mental models. Implementation & Testing We handed off to development with detailed specification: UI components, data rules, validations and integration points. We tested functionality, accuracy of logic conversion and performance of the system under realistic data loads.
